1) Airfare
The grantees will receive an airplane ticket between their country and Korea economy class, for entrance and graduation.
2) Monthly Allowance
800,000 KRW per month
3) Korean Language Training
6-month intensive language training before entrance Korean language course during the enrolled degree program.
4) Tuition
Full coverage (regular semesters only)
5) Settlement Allowance
200,000 KRW for first entry to Korea
6) Graduation Thesis Allowance
Upto 1,000,000 KRW on the semester expecting graduation
7) Korean Proficiency Grants
100,000 KRW per month, payable to monthly allowance (for 1 year)
8) Medical Insurance
Korea’s National Health Insurance (contribution for international students)
Important Points regarding the AMA+ Scholarship Benefits:
- All grantees shall take language training before his/her entrance to K-Arts, and one who fail to reach 85% attendance record shall be revoked from admission and shall reimburse its expenses.
- Any grantee who quits the program after entering Korea should refund all scholarship; airfare for coming into Korea; monthly stipend and Korean language training expenses, etc.
- The allowance for Excellence and/or Improvement of Korean Proficiency is decided upon the language requirement of each department, and the duration and the criteria are subject to change depending on the situation of the K-Arts.
