AMA Arts Scholarship Benefits
AMA Arts Scholarship 2025 offers the following amazing benefits:
- Airfare: Grantees will receive economy class round-trip airfare between their home country and Korea for both entry and graduation.
- Monthly Allowance: A stipend of 800,000 KRW per month will be provided.
- Korean Language Training: Prior to enrollment, grantees will undergo a 6-month intensive language course.
- Tuitions: Full coverage of tuition fees for regular semesters.
- Settlement Allowance: A one-time allowance of 200,000 KRW upon initial entry to Korea.
- Graduation Thesis Allowance: Grantees may receive up to 1,000,000 KRW in support of their graduation thesis.
- Korean Proficiency Grants: A monthly grant of 100,000 KRW for one year to support Korean language proficiency.
- Medical Insurance: Coverage under Korea’s National Health Insurance scheme.
AMA+ Scholarship 2025 Eligibility Criteria
1- Nationality Requirement:
Eligible applicants must hold citizenship of OECD DAC Recipient Countries, including their parents.
Eligible countries for the AMA Arts Scholarship 2025
2- Academic Requirement:
For Bachelor’s Program:
High school diploma required. Applicants from countries with less than 12 years of education must meet equivalent standards recognized by the Korean Ministry of Education.
For Master’s Program:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
Expected graduates by Feb 28, 2025, must provide proof of expected graduation and may be exempt from Korean Language training if holding TOPIK level 5 or above.
3 – Language Requirement:
Applicants must meet the Korean proficiency level set by each department, typically demonstrated through TOPIK scores or equivalent certificates.
If unable to submit valid test scores, alternative proof such as certificates from recognized Korean language institutes may be accepted.
Document screening may include a Korean Language Test conducted by K-Arts.
4 – Artistic Talent:
Submission of portfolios required by each department/major, unless stated otherwise.
Visit K-Arts’ official channels for detailed requirements.
5 – Entry to Korea:
Final grantees expected to arrive in Korea before the degree program begins, undergoing Korean language training if necessary. Grantees holding TOPIK level 5 or 6 may be exempt from language training. Arrival in Korea expected by the end of August 2024.

- This test does not substitute TOPIK. Results are complementary to existing Korean proficiency proofs.
